1. What inspired you to write your book and how did the idea come to life?
We were inspired to write this book because we saw a gap in knowledge on happiness and how other emotions are wired through the brain. It’s not easy to understand, and even university courses in psychology and neuroscience avoid fully covering the subject. We made this book to close the understanding gap, bringing neuroscience and psychology together with philosophical inspiration to create five elements explaining how happiness is wired through the brain and what makes us who we are. We hope this book brings happiness to others and helps them reach higher levels of well-being.
2. Can you share your initial goals for publishing your book?
Our initial goals with publishing this book are to give the knowledge needed to understand how the brain explains who we are while providing a framework that can be applied to yourself and others to increase happiness and help tackle complex topics like anxiety and depression.

6. Were there any aspects of the publishing process that surprised you or differed from what you initially expected??
The publishing process took longer than initially expected and we were surprised with the amount of details that need to be kept in mind and can cause the process to stall.
7. How do you hope readers will receive your book, and what do you hope readers will retain from it?
We hope readers will really get to enjoy the read, and feel that they have learned more about the brain and how it functions. We hope readers retain a sense of how to approach difficult mental challenges for themselves and how they can help others with the same.
